Who wants to go to boring, pointless and at times soul destroying friendlies at Wembley on a wet Tuesday night?  You know the ones we mean.  Where the game is killed off by half time, witnesses ten substitutions and is as physically meaningless too.    Well the good people of UEFA are putting a stop to this and replacing many of the international friendly calendar with a glitzy new competition for all of Europe.

Behold, the UEFA Nations League!  A proper league system with actual promotion and relegation for international teams as well a summer tournament for the top four teams.  And yes, they’ll have a new trophy to play for also.
